My Story,

2015-2016 I worked for a telecom provider full time servicing their Network Operations Center. During the course of that time my wife got laid off from her job. Driving for Uber part time sounded like a great way to supplement the income of our household. Driving for Uber was convenient because you set your own hours. After 27 years of being at the telco I was let go / forced retirement. The Uber platform was and still is a source of income for me and my family. During this journey my personal faith in Christ has been strengthened.  Its more than just collecting a check and as part of driving I am always willing to share my story of faith and how the Lord has worked in my life. The 2 most beautiful things about driving is first the wonderful conversations with the passengers. The interactions and to hear their stories is great and sometimes I have had to be that ear that they needed. 2^nd after living in this great state of NJ, I found myself taking the road less traveled some times and was amazed at the beauty hidden in plain sight. i.e. land marks and historical buildings, old and new. Along the way I also notice the great disparage as well. To go from million dollar homes to abandoned buildings and see homeless people on the streets makes me realize I have been blessed and to try to be a blessing to someone else.  This is why the theme of the web site gives thanks and praise to the Lord.
